We’re looking for a proactive self starter who’s unafraid of driving multiple projects at once. Your role is to move each project forward, whether prioritizing action items or coordinating details with our in-house teams. We need you to be detail-oriented, a skilled multi-tasker capable of balancing any number of notes, calls, and emails. Communication with clients is a key part of your job, so you need to bring interpersonal strength to any situation. We’re looking for someone who is decisive, able to own the details and execute initiatives with minimal direction while staying true to the vision and strategy of the project. In short, you help our whole team move forward.

What does the Producer do?

Your role, in a nutshell.

We need to make sure that all of our clients feel heard, respected, and cared for. While our client leads are responsible for managing the relationship with the clients, your primary role as a Producer is to be the liaison between our clients and the client lead. We’re always managing several clients at the same time, so we often have to juggle their requests, questions, and comments simultaneously. The result of this is often a pile of voicemails or emails that need to be resolved efficiently. You’ll need to be keen on making sure that details don’t fall through the cracks. It’s also the small things that make a big difference, so it’s really important for you to have excellent relational skills to make sure our clients are receiving the best service they can.


A day in the life of a Producer

Here are some of your duties:

Ensure that clients always feel that they’re valued, respected, and cared for. This may include things like answering questions about how their website is functioning, to working with the Glass Canvas Project Manager to ensure that the client’s needs are met on time, to remembering which kind of warm beverage they prefer.

Fulfill administrative duties related to client management, including answering emails, voicemails and other communication.

Attending meetings with client leads, and taking/sending notes as necessary.

Preparing and writing proposals, agreements and estimates for clients, including coordinating with the Project Manager and the team leads to ensure that you have the information you need.

Ensuring that all documents and communications with the client are documented properly and easily retrieved when needed.  

Once the client relationship has been set up, you may be the first point of contact whenever a client needs to connect with Glass Canvas. This means you will need to manage their requests as efficiently as possible.

Proactively identify opportunities for growth to enhance our client management experience and improve our overall efficiency.

Here are a few things we are looking for:

We need you to be on top of your game. While we understand that it will take time to get used to being part of the team, we want you to be a proactive self-starter, who can handle ambiguity and uncertainty with minimal guidance.

We need you to have excellent interpersonal skills. We think our clients deserve the best, so need your help to make sure they always feel valued. We need a healthy balance of professionalism and friendliness when communicating with our clients.

We need you to be comfortable with technology. We’re the texting, “Slacking” (bonus points if you get it), Google Hangout-ing ‘kinda team.

We think this goes without saying, but here it is anyway. You need to be comfortable with data, numbers, and little nitty-gritty details. Because there’s going to be lots of it. You need to be comfortable with handling the details, and being on top of it all the time.  

We’re also the praying kind, so spiritual conversations are commonplace. While we don’t require you to practice a certain kind of faith, most of our team members and our clients come from a spiritual background. So an openness to spirituality and church culture would definitely be an asset.
